Prepare for Your Visit

We look forward to welcoming you to our beautiful Malibu campus. Before your visit, review these helpful tips to make the most of your time at Pepperdine.

Weather Graphic

Coastal weather can be temperamental, so bring layers for the morning and sunscreen for the afternoon.

Feet Icon

There are many stairs and hills on campus, so be sure to wear comfortable walking shoes.

Water Bottle Icon

Bring a reusable water bottle to stay hydrated throughout your visit. Water bottle filling stations are conveniently located across campus.

 

Campus Arrival

Upon arriving to campus, please stop at the guard booth to request a visitor parking pass, campus map, and directions to the undergraduate Admission Office. Tours and information sessions depart from the Office of Admission.

  Out of State and International Travel

Pepperdine University is located approximately 30 minutes by car from one of the largest international airports, Los Angeles International Airport (LAX). Shuttle and ground transportation information can be found here.

  Weekend Visitors

Please note that on-campus visit resources are limited on weekends and only one 10:00 am student-led tour is offered on Saturdays. If you are unable to attend a 10:00 am Saturday tour, you are welcome to take a self-guided tour.  Additionally, the Pepperdine on-campus shuttles run on weekends starting at 12:00 noon. Therefore, it is important that you arrange your own transportation while on campus if you are visiting on a Saturday or Sunday. Parking

We recommend that you allow an extra 15 minutes to find parking and locate the Office of Admission. You can park at any of the following locations with your visitor pass:

  • Along Banowsky Blvd or Seaver Drive.
  • Theme Tower Lot in a visitor spot, which requires a coin token (provided by the Public Safety Officer at the guard booth) for access this parking lot.
  • Seaver Main Lot in a visitor spot, which requires a coin token (provided by the Public Safety Officer at the guard booth) for access this parking lot.
  • Firestone Fieldhouse parking lot.

 

Check-In Process

Check in takes place in the Office of Admission in the Thornton Administrative Center (TAC) on the second floor.

 

Make The Most of Your Visit

  On Campus Dining

There are 10 different dining options on campus, ranging from the Waves Cafe, affectionately dubbed "the Caf" by students, to Starbucks in the Payson Library. Please visit the dining website for a complete list of dining facilities and menu options, as well as regular and special operating hours. Please note that some dining facilities have limited or no operating hours on the weekends.
