Spring Admitted Student FAQs

What does it mean to be admitted for spring?
First and foremost, congratulations on your acceptance to Pepperdine University for Spring 2027! We have a spring class every year comprised of candidates who applied for fall as well as students who have applied and been accepted during our separate spring enrollment. Spring admission was created to allow as many qualified applicants as possible to attend Pepperdine. We anticipate an entering spring class of approximately 75-125 total students.

What opportunities are there to get involved on campus for spring students?
Students can immediately start getting involved in the numerous aspects of campus life once they arrive at Pepperdine in the spring. Opportunities for getting involved include Greek Life, Campus Recreation, the Hub for Spiritual Life, cultural affinity groups, and over a hundred clubs and organizations through our Student Activities office.

Can I study abroad?
Spring students are eligible to study abroad after completing one semester on campus. Our International Programs office will contact you in August with further information about applying. In the meantime, get excited about the possibility of semester, year-long, or summer travels through our International Programs website.

How can I connect with Admission & Aid representatives?

• Email your Admission Counselor to schedule a one-on-one phone, video, or on-campus appointment between the hours of 8:00am-5:00pm (PST) Monday-Friday.
• Email finaid2@pepperdine.edu to schedule a phone appointment with a Financial Assistance Advisor between the hours of 10:00am-3:00pm (PST) Monday-Friday.
• Celebrate your admission, make friends, and learn more about Pepperdine at upcoming admitted student events.
• Take an interactive virtual tour of our Malibu campus where our students guide you through main campus, highlighting key locations and sharing their personal insight along the way.

What is New Student Orientation like for spring students?
New Student Orientation (NSO) is mandatory for all incoming students. NSO begins on January 7, 2027 with classes starting on January 11, 2027. NSO facilitates a successful college transition by introducing new students and families to Pepperdine's engaging campus community, academic environment, Christian mission, and support resources. Registration for Spring NSO will open later this fall, and you will receive an email then with further instructions.

Where will I live?
First-year students are required to live on campus and have a meal plan their freshman and sophomore years, while transfer students are required to live on campus and have a meal plan their starting spring semester. We have 22 identical residence halls that provide suite-style living with a common room and restroom surrounded by 4 fully furnished double bedrooms. Spring students will receive an email with detailed information regarding the housing and roommate selection process later this fall. The Housing and Residence Life Office will try to place you with other students of your same graduating class. When is the enrollment deadline?
In order to accept this offer of admission from Pepperdine University, both the online Enrollment Confirmation Form and $750 Tuition Prepayment must be submitted by 11:59 PM (Pacific Time) on May 1, 2026 to reserve your place for the coming spring semester.
