We have compiled a list of typical experiences that will be a part of your first year here. This is only a small sample of the excitement that awaits you at Seaver College. New Student Website

Available in spring

This website will include detailed information for New Student Orientation as well as an important checklist and deadlines for new students to complete. The website will also include further information about housing.

 

Housing Information

Early May

Housing and Residence Life (HRL) information will be available by mid-May. You will receive access to the housing portal where you will apply for housing and select your roommate.

 

Final Official Transcripts Deadline

July 15

Mail official transcripts to the Office of Admission. Final high school transcripts must be complete with a graduation date, while college transcripts (if applicable) should include final grades for all coursework currently in progress. If transcripts are not received, you may not be eligible to register for classes.

New Student Orientation

All New Students: August 18-21

Parents: August 18-20 *Parents must secure their own housing. List of area accommodations.

New Student Orientation

New Student Orientation (NSO) is meant to introduce you to Seaver College. NSO occurs a few days before the first day of school and gives you the opportunity to make new friends, get to know your roommate, and move into your residential hall with help from current students. Faculty, staff, administration, and students come out to ensure that we make your transition from high school to college seamless and fun.

Waves Weekend

Save the date for our annual Waves Weekend on October 9-11, 2026! Student Activities and Alumni Relations host an action-packed weekend filled with fun events and traditions. It’s a great chance for students to reunite with their families, while they meet with faculty, staff, alumni, and new friends.
