Nestled in the scenic coastal community of Malibu, Pepperdine is committed to providing a safe, welcoming environment where students can learn, live, and thrive. Our Department of Public Safety serves the campus 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, giving families added peace of mind.

Officers patrol campus around the clock and provide emergency response year-round.

  Comprehensive Safety Services

Includes security patrols, building security, campus safety escorts, parking enforcement, and threat assessment.

  Student Support

Students can request roadside assistance, safety escorts, or transportation back to campus if they feel unsafe off campus.

  On-Campus Fire Brigade

Pepperdine maintains its own fire brigade with dedicated fire engines to support emergency response.

  Emergency Communications

Blue Light emergency phones and a 24/7 dispatch center provide immediate access to assistance.

Students, families, and visitors can communicate with Public Safety, report concerns, and use SafeWalk for added peace of mind.
